Convert images to JPG, PNG or WebP
Convert between JPG, PNG and WebP, with transparency handled for you.
How it works
- 1
Add one or more images: JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF or BMP. They stay in your browser.
- 2
Choose JPG, PNG or WebP. For JPG, pick the colour that replaces transparency.
- 3
Set the quality for JPG and WebP; PNG is always lossless.
- 4
Download the converted files. Metadata, including location, is removed.
Questions
Add the WebP file, choose JPG, and convert. Transparent areas are filled with white or black, since JPG can't store transparency.
Add the PNG and choose WebP. Transparency is kept, and the file is usually much smaller.
JPG for photos that must work everywhere, PNG for screenshots and graphics that need sharp edges or transparency, and WebP for the smallest files on the web.
Only in browsers that can display HEIC (such as Safari). Elsewhere, HEIC photos can't be decoded in the browser.
